Gemma & Adam’s Winter Wedding at Parklands, Quendon Park

Gemma and Adam chose the beautiful Parklands, Quendon Park to host their beautiful civil ceremony and wedding reception.

Gemma and the girls got dressed in the stunning bridal suite, accompanied by her parents, which allowed me to capture some beautiful pictures before the ceremony commenced. I also spent some time outside with Adam and the guys to make the most of the beautiful winters day and Parklands grounds.

The happy couple chose the banqueting hall for their ceremony, and reception drinks followed in the main house. With the weather being so kind, I was also delighted to be able to get outside for pictures including the courtyard, a tree lined path and by the lake, which I hope you will agree, made for some beautiful pictures of the couple.

I then stayed on for speeches and the first dance, finishing the evening by capturing friends and family as they partied the evening away!

Another lovely wedding and the last of 2011. Congratulations to Gemma & Adam for such a lovely day!

Hannah & Aydin’s Christmas Wedding at the Manor of Groves

Hannah & Aydin chose the week before Christmas for their beautiful winter wedding at the Manor of Groves.

Hannah looked absolutely beautiful in a one-shoulder dress and long sleeves, whilst Aydin looked the part in a stylish suit and a large entourage of ushers and best men!

The couple got married at the Manor of Groves Golf and Country Club, near Sawbridgeworth with Hannah and her dad arriving in style in a stretch mini. A lovely civil ceremony followed and whilst the weather prevented us from getting outside, we took advantage of the lovely hotel interior and took some beautiful pictures of the happy couple, friends and family celebrating the occasion.

The happy couple were then announced in by a drummer and musician, which really made for a fantastic entrance!

Congratulations to them both – we hope they enjoyed their first Christmas and New Year as a married couple! :-)

Gemma & Brett’s Winter Wedding at Parklands

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of covering Gemma & Brett’s Wedding at Parklands, Quendon Hall.

Although this was a Winter Wedding, the weather was superb with beautiful blue skies, so we took full advantage and ventured outside for some lovely shots in and around Parklands.

Some of my favourites are below, to include some beautiful bridal shots in the bridal suite, Gemma & her Dad making their entrance, Brett and his grooms party and of course, some pictures of the happy couple both during and after the ceremony.

Thank you to Gemma, Brett, their Family & Friends for making me feel so welcome. I wish Gemma & Brett much happiness for their married life together.

Busy busy busy!

Just a little post to let you know that we’re still here and working really hard on getting all of our weddings proofed by Christmas, our album designs all caught up and of course welcoming new customers ready for 2012 and 2013 weddings!

We haven’t had much time to update our blog recently, but would like to say a huge congratulations to Melissa & Scott, Joanna & Richard, Victoria & James, Briony & Robert, Melissa & Alfy, Anne & David, Catherine & Alex, Louise & Graham, Lucy & Giles, Gemma & Brett, Paula & Andy who have all got married recently and we’ve had the greatest of pleasure in photographing their weddings!

We will update the blog as soon as possible with some lovely images for you to see, but we hope you are all getting ready for a lovely Christmas and look forward to seeing you in the New Year (if not before!).

Lifestyle Shoot in High Beach, Epping Forest

Our sister company Smile Baby is growing rapidly and whilst we try to keep our sites separate for obvious reasons, I really wanted to share a couple of pictures from this recent lifestyle shoot to show off our family shoots in a natural environment!

I chose the beautiful High Beech in Epping Forest for this shoot because it’s not only the perfect haven for kids of Chloe (1), Kian (4) and Cade’s (7) age but is also beautiful at this time of year with the bright and vibrant Autumn colours. I took the two families for a little walk through the forest and with minimal interaction, captured the 3 cousins and their parents having fun and playing in the forest! I’ve attached below a few of my favourites, I hope you like them!

Emma & Paul’s Wedding at Hanbury Manor

Emma & Paul booked Rachel & I for our Platinum package, which meant we were there to capture their whole day from bridal prep through to 1st dance and beyond! The happy couple chose the stunning setting of Hanbury Manor for their ceremony and reception, and as part of the preferred suppliers at Hanbury Manor , we were delighted to cover their day!

Even although the weather didn’t play ball for the whole day we managed to get some fantastic shots both inside and out. Rachel and I had a fantastic day, thanks to Emma & Paul, their friends and family for making us feel so welcome. Here are a few of our favorites from the day.

Hengrave Hall – What a beautiful Wedding Venue!

It was our first visit to Hengrave Hall and the wedding of Monique & David, who were a fantastic couple to be with on their special day!

As first time visitors to Hengrave Hall, we were really excited to be shooting at a new venue and we weren’t disappointed! A huge Tudor mansion house, with light spacious rooms and surrounded by beautiful gardens, we were in our element! We met with Monique first in the beautiful bridal suite and I stayed with the girls, whilst Mark went off in search of the boys who were playing pool and getting ready in a separate area of the house! The ceremony was held in the great banqueting hall and after a few sun dances and a lot of prayers, the rain disappeared and we welcomed the newly married Monique and David outside where they enjoyed their afternoon drinks, some photos and mingling with their guests!

Having booked the Platinum package, we stayed to cover Monique and David’s speeches, which we then followed by some beautiful evening pictures in and around the mansion before finishing up on the amazing chequered dance floor!

We had a fantastic day from start to finish, having been welcomed into the wedding from staff, guests, family and of course the happy couple! We’ve included a slideshow of some of our favourite pictures from the day, which I hope you will enjoy! It was hard to get them down to just a few, but I hope you will enjoy this sneak peak from their wedding! Remember to view it with sound on and in full screen!

Laura & Martin’s Outdoor Wedding at Parklands, Quendon Park

Laura & Martin booked the beautiful Parklands, Quendon Park for their big day and weren’t disappointed, with a beautiful setting, weather and atmosphere, which truly made their day so special!

Laura looked beautiful in a long dress with intricate details and open back, and a happy Martin had a big smile from ear to ear! The couple booked our platinum coverage, which meant we were with them the whole day from bridal prep in the morning through to first dance and beyond!

The happy couple got married outside and enjoyed their drinks reception in the Parklands grounds. We finally got into the long cornfield at the back of the estate (which we’ve been waiting to do for ages!) and despite me getting a nettle sting (ouch!), we took some lovely romantic pictures, which I think were truly worth the effort!

We thoroughly enjoyed their big day and both Laura and Martin were a great couple to be with – thank you again to them both for a lovely day!

Venues Guide in Wedding Planner Magazine, featuring our images & wedding from Braxted Park

OK, so we’re actually showing off a bit now, but this is the third piece of editorial coverage we’ve got in as many months from Wedding Magazines (and yes, we’re very proud of it!).

We were delighted to contribute towards the feature on venues, which was being run by ‘Wedding Planner’ magazine this issue and were happy to supply images from one of our weddings at Braxted Park.

We always work hard to try and get our couples coverage in magazines, but of course given the amount of weddings we shoot a year, and the selective nature of the magazines, it’s no easy feat, but we’re delighted to add Katy & Alan to our couples-of-fame with this 6 page editorial spread, in addition to the ‘real wedding’ and cover shot you can see in our earlier posts!
