I am really so very sorry for the fear and uncertainty you both must be going through at the difficult time. As I’m sure you can imagine I have had quite a lot of my couples get in touch regarding our policy towards the COVID-19 pandemic.

So what happens if I have to reschedule my Wedding

Any monies paid will be transferred to the new booking. You will not need to pay a new deposit to secure the new date, however the new date will only be 100% confirmed with me once this has been confirmed by the venue/s. You will not need to agree to new terms and conditions everything will simply port over to the new date.

The most important thing is to check my availability (as well as that of your most important suppliers) before confirming a new date.

This pandemic has had a profound effect on our business and therefore in order to minimise the financial impact upon me, I would be hugely grateful if you are able to pay 50% of your final balance as per the original payment schedule (4 weeks before your original date) and the remaining 50% 4 weeks before you new rescheduled date

So what happens to my deposit if you are unavailable on my rescheduled date?

Unfortunately as indicated in my original client area terms and conditions, deposits are non-refundable.

I would love to be able to refund deposits as a gesture of goodwill where necessary, however as more and more couples have contacted me for advice I have come to realise that in order to support my wife and children this would just not be possible.

Hopefully wedding insurance will help in these situations and I am happy to confirm in writing that I am unable to return your deposit if required by your insurance company.

What happens if we can not attend my wedding?

As always at this time of year, I am doing everything I can to stay healthy.  I am staying home as much as possible and following government guidelines as we all are however it is obviously still possible that any of us can become infected and have to self isolate for a period of time.

I am a member of a group of local peers who are always there for me should I fall ill and be unable to attend a wedding however they are obviously all in the same situation so until this happens it is very difficult to predict what will happen. Should one of my trusted peers be available and willing to film the day, I will then obviously still edit the footage. If I am unable to attend due to having contracted COVID-19 (or any illness for that matter) or am unable find a suitable replacement to film your wedding then a full refund will be given.

Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions or I can help in any way.

This must be a terrible time for you and I would love to help in any way I can.
